Beth Gathetu

Chair and Co-Founder of African Women’s Alliance. She holds an MS in Community & Rehabilitation Counseling from St Cloud State University and a graduate certificate in Infant Mental Health from the University of Minnesota. Beth was born in Kenya and currently resides in St Cloud, MN. She speaks Kikuyu Kiswahili and English.


Beth is also a Co-Founder of The Lullaby Project and is passionate about visiting different centers to share cultural experiences in songs (lullabies) from different countries. Beth works at Greater Minnesota Family Services as an Early Childhood Counselor and enjoys connecting immigrants and refugee women of African origin to the vital resources they need but may not know how to access. She is wife and mother to two lovely sons that are the core of her support group for success. Her hobbies are gardening, cooking and listening to Christian music.


Florence Ojanduru Orionzi

Financial Director for the African Women’s Alliance. She holds a Bachelor of Science from National University of Lesotho, Master of Science in Early Childhood Family Education from St. Cloud State University, a MN licensed Parent Educator with MN 7-12 Life Science Licensure.

Florence was born and raised in Uganda and has now lived in Minnesota, USA for thirty years. And works at St. Cloud Area School District 742 as a parent educator teacher. She speaks Lugbara and English.

Her passion is learning, teaching, advocacy and community connections. Florence is married with three adult daughters and a son who is a senior in high school, her family is her rock. She loves gardening, walking and reading.


Elizabeth Feigh

Vice Chair and Secretary of African Women’s Alliance. She holds an early Childhood Degree but she is currently retired. Elizabeth was born and raised in Australia and moved to Minnesota in 1973 after her marriage to a Minnesotan.


Although not an African, Elizabeth has been involved in the local community and particularly with groups that support women and children. She also knows the experience of living in a foreign country and what it takes to adapt and make a new home in it. Elizabeth is a wife, mother and grandmother that dotes and rewards her grandchildren just for being themselves. Her hobbies are travelling (especially during the winter months in Minnesota), making photo scrapbooks, reading and yoga.



Eunice Adjei

Director in charge of Food and nutrition Program for the African Women’s Alliance. She holds a BA in psychology and an M.S in Social Responsibility from St. Cloud State University. She is the President of Adom Consulting LLC and founder of the Jugaad Leadership Program.


She also serves as board member on a number of boards including Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, St. Cloud State University, Charity Commission, and Governors Council on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, St. Cloud Technical and Community College Foundation Board and The Tri-Count Action Program Inc.


She is originally from Ghana and has achieved several outstanding recognitions including Presidential Award from St. Cloud NAACP in 2019. She is the mother of an adorable little boy that provide her ample time as a leader and active participant in several community leadership initiatives. Her hobbies include: traveling, reading and dancing to and for her son.



Delali Degbey

Communication and Technology Team Leader of African Women’s Alliance. She graduated from the National School of Midwifery of Lome Togo. She holds a Master of Public Health degree with a minor in Global Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.


Delali was born in a small coastal nation in West Africa, Togo and migrated to the Minnesota, USA to further her studies. She speaks French, Mina and Watchi. She works as a Senior Population Heath – Sustainability Program Lead at Blue Cross Blue Shield MN.



She is dedicated in promoting health equity and is committed to women’s and children’s well-being across the world. In her leisure time, she loves listening to audio books and music, traveling, and visiting State Parks and capturing beautiful pictures. Delali and her partner loves going on road trips that provides the right atmosphere for their relationship to bloom under these strong Minnesota temperatures.



Lynn Davis

Support to both the Communications and Technology Team and the Food Committee. She holds a B.A. (Hons.) in English and literature, Postgraduate diploma in Business Administration, an M.B.A with Human Resources bias from the University of Sierra Leone and a Doctorate in Higher Education and Management from St. Cloud State University.



She was born and raised in Sierra Leone and moved over to the US to further her studies. She speaks Creole and English. Lynn works as a Development Specialist at Tri-County Action Partnership and enjoys helping the vulnerable in society for no one knows what tomorrow brings.



She is a published author for An Anthology of Human Relations and a fictional novel called “Beautiful Scars”. When she is not writing she enjoys her hobbies of cooking, gardening, singing and dancing. Lynn currently lives in a small town but she has big dreams for a brighter future – Cold Spring, MN.


Rachel Anyu-Lainjo

Consulting Advisor for African Women’s Alliance. She holds two master's degrees (Business Administration and Healthcare Administration) and a Ph.D. in Public Health with an emphasis on Organizational Leadership. She is the Director for Workplace and Patient Diversity and Co-Lead Community Healthcare at Centracare, in St. Cloud.



She is originally from Cameroon and was raised in Douala. She moved to Germany as a teenager and later migrated to the US in 2000 where she has lived for 20 years plus with her husband and three children. She was recently named a valuable Dyad Physician Partner’ for Population/Community Health by the Chief Physician Officer.



Rachel speaks seven languages but is fluent and proficient in five of the languages. She also seats at the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce Diversity Board and is also a board member at WanLanijo Foundation. Rachel wears multiple hats in life and prides herself as a mom, a wife, and a compassionate human being. When she is not working hard, she enjoys traveling around the world and experiencing different cultures.
